Do you need help figuring out your wrist size?

Are you interested in one of my spoon bracelets, but need to see if the standard size bracelet will fit or if you will need links added? Here are a few different ways you can go about measuring your wrist.
How To Measure Your Wrist Size
-You can use a flexible tape like this to measure your wrist size.
Wrap the tape measure around your wrist as if it were a bracelet or watch. (Here I am measuring my wrist for a loose fit). If you like it tight up past your wrist bone like a tight watch, then measure there. If you like to wear them slightly hanging and slid down your palm, then measure your wrist there. As you wrap the tape be sure to note the measurement where it overlaps. This is your measured wrist size and the size that is comfortable to you.

-You can also use a flexible tape like this to measure your wrist. If you happen to have one!
(This is one of my son's toy tape measures. I just happened to notice that it also has a flexible tape measure in it).
(How about that, my wrist measured at 8 1/2" again. Be sure to watch where the tape actually starts, because with this one it starts at the first line and not the little black hook end.)
-If you don't have a flexible tape like either of those two, you could use a piece of string or a shoelace to measure your wrist.
Start by wrapping the string around your wrist as if it were a bracelet or watch. Again, if you like it tight up past your wrist bone like a tight watch, then measure there. If you like to wear them slightly hanging and slid down your palm, then measure your wrist there. As you wrap the string around your wrist, this time be sure to mark the string where it starts to overlap. You could either mark it with a marker or just hold the spot with your fingers. After you have marked the overlap point, straighten the string back out next to a regular straight ruler. Measure the length of the string to your mark. This would be your wrist size and the size that is comfortable to you.
(This time when I measured my wrist with the string it came out to be about 8 5/8". Give or take 1/8", I'd still say about 8 1/2".)
-Lastly, you could cut a strip of paper to measure your wrist size.
First, get a sheet of paper. Then cut a strip down the side about as thick as your little finger. Wrap this strip around your wrist as if it were your bracelet. Mark the paper and measure it like explained in the above string directions.
(Wa La, my wrist measured 8 1/2" again! So after all these different ways of wrist measuring, I would want my spoon bracelet to fit an 8 1/2" wrist.)
